Application Engineer

Sista ansökningsdag 2026-11-22 Plats: FIN - Vantaa Join Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Finland Oy in Vantaa as an Application Engineer, supporting our Finnish sales team and customers across a broad range of sealing products and applications. In this role, you will combine technical problem-solving, customer support and day-to-day collaboration with our sales team. You will initially focus on developing a strong understanding of our products, materials, systems and processes while supporting ongoing customer and sales activities. As your expertise grows, you will take on broader application-engineering responsibilities, including identifying suitable sealing solutions, troubleshooting technical issues and providing technical support to customers. The role offers a great opportunity to build your technical expertise in an international environment and develop towards broader technical or sales-oriented responsibilities over time. Your Tasks Provide technical and operational support to our Finnish sales team and customers Support daily business activities using our ERP and CRM systems, including orders, requests for quotation and item creation and maintenance Develop a strong understanding of our products, materials, services and their applications Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders regarding products, orders, quotations and technical topics Support technical complaints and material-compliance related topics Identify suitable sealing solutions based on customer requirements and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions’ capabilities Provide technical assistance and product training to customers and the local sales team Troubleshoot customer-reported product-performance issues and support technical complaint investigations Participate in customer visits, trade fairs and other industry events together with the sales team Collaborate with colleagues across the local and international organization Your Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent technical knowledge gained through relevant work experience Strong technical understanding and an interest in solving practical customer challenges Ability to communicate technical topics clearly with both customers and internal stakeholders Customer-oriented, proactive and collaborative working style Ability to work independently and manage several activities and priorities simultaneously Excellent written and spoken Finnish and English Good general IT skills and confidence in learning new systems Previous experience in a technical, customer-facing or application-engineering environment is an advantage Knowledge of mechanical engineering, materials technology or hydraulic systems is an advantage Experience with sealing technology, SAP, CAD/2D/3D modelling, project management, quality processes or technical complaint handling is considered an advantage What We Offer Join an experienced and innovative team of eleven people in Finland, with the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across our international organization Work from our Vantaa office, conveniently accessible by public transport and designed to support teamwork and close collaboration Benefit from tailored onboarding, supported by both local and international colleagues Enjoy a flexible hybrid working model, combining regular face-to-face collaboration with flexibility Receive attractive employee benefits, including: Lunch and culture vouchers Gym access Occupational healthcare Leisure-time accident insurance Yearly bonus scheme in line with prevailing company standards Grow your career with opportunities to develop towards broader technical or sales-oriented responsibilities, depending on your strengths and career ambitions
