We're partnering with an established Finnish technology business that powers products used by millions of people and some of the country's largest organisations. They are looking for a Data Engineer to help build and scale data-driven real-estate products used by banks, property investors, and real estate professionals across Finland. This is an opportunity to join a highly autonomous product team working across Data Engineering, MLOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and AI , with genuine ownership over systems that directly impact end users and business decision-making. The Role: As a Data Engineer, you'll own the flow of data from source to product, helping to build and maintain the platforms that power machine learning and analytics solutions. You'll work across the full lifecycle, including data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, model deployment, monitoring, and AI-powered product features. You'll be responsible for: Building and maintaining production-scale data pipelines Developing and optimising data processing workflows using Python and SQL Managing cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code Supporting machine learning models in production environments Monitoring, retraining, deploying, and improving ML solutions Working with modern AI and LLM-powered features Collaborating closely with engineers and product teams to deliver customer-facing solutions Tech Stack Python • SQL • Airflow • Docker • Terraform • CDK • GitHub Actions AWS: S3, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock Frameworks: FastAPI, Flask What We're Looking For Essential 3-5 years of Data Engineering experience Strong Python and SQL skills Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines Hands-on experience with AWS data services Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, CDK or similar) Experience supporting machine learning models in production CI/CD pipeline experience Fluent Finnish language skills Product company experience Nice to Have API development experience in Python Experience with MLOps practices AI or LLM project exposure Azure and/or GCP experience Knowledge of the housing, banking, or property sectors 📍 Helsinki, Finland 🏡 Hybrid Working (2 days remote) If you're a Data Engineer looking to move beyond traditional ETL work and into a role combining Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Cloud Infrastructure, and AI , I'd be happy to tell you more.
