Guide Scheduling & Operations Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced and organised Guide Scheduling & Operations Coordinator to manage scheduling and operational coordination for a team of approximately 80–100 guides in our tourism company in Rovaniemi. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with **MaraPlan and Bókun systems** and a good understanding of tourism operations, workforce scheduling, and working-time administration. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare and manage work schedules for 80–100 guides. - Use MaraPlan for workforce scheduling and working-time management. - Use Bókun to manage bookings and coordinate tour operations. - Coordinate guide availability, shift changes, replacements, and last-minute schedule adjustments. - Monitor working hours, overtime, absences, and working-time balances. - Ensure sufficient staffing for daily tours and activities. - Maintain accurate scheduling records and support payroll preparation. - Coordinate closely with operations managers and team leaders. - Ensure compliance with applicable Finnish employment legislation and collective agreements. **Requirements** - **Practical experience with both MaraPlan and Bókun is required.** - Previous experience in workforce scheduling, tourism operations, or personnel coordination. - Ability to manage schedules for a large team. - Good understanding of Finnish working-time regulations and collective agreements. - Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Good command of English; Finnish is an advantage. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, seasonal tourism environment. **What We Offer** - An important role in a growing tourism business in Lapland. - An international working environment. - Responsibility for coordinating a large guide team and supporting daily operations. - An opportunity to contribute to efficient and high-quality tourism services. **How to Apply** Please submit your CV and a short introduction outlining your experience with MaraPlan, Bókun, and guide scheduling.
