Machine Electrician, Normet, Iisalmi

We are now looking for vehicle electricians for Normet in Iisalmi. You will work in an assembly team where you will be responsible for the electrical installations of mining and tunnelling machines manufactured by Normet. Your daily tasks will include connecting, measuring and testing the electrical systems of vehicles and pre-assembled modules, as well as connecting the 400–1000 V operating voltage systems of the machines. The versatile job description also includes mechanical installation work, so you will get to work on varied and technically interesting tasks. Main work / responsibilities - Electric assembly work on Normet mining and tunnelling equipment. - Work can be done in final assembly, pre-assembly, line assembly, station assembly, or different equipment types depending on assignment. Education / experience - Electrical education and required permits/licenses. - Suitable electrical education / vocational electrical background. - Experience in Normet machine/equipment assembly or maintenance. - Experience in Normet work-machine or electric-vehicle electrical installations is mentioned for prototype/electrical assembly roles - Experience with the use of Normes, Sovelia. - Ability to read and understand Normet product structures, assembly drawings, diagrams, and electrical schematics - At least one year of experience in similar tasks is required. Skills / competencies - Accuracy, carefulness, problem-solving skills, and good teamwork skills. - Communication and teamwork skills, ability to give and receive feedback. - Adaptability to changing situations. - Readiness for double shift work - Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, punctuality, and positive working attitude are valued. - English or finnish language is mandatory Certificates / permits: - SFS 6002 electrical safety training, occupational safety training, hot work training The employment contract will be signed with StaffPoint. The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug test before starting employment.
