Head of People & Culture, Telia Finland We’re looking for a Head of People & Culture (P&C) to join Telia Finland. I’m Holger Haljand, CEO of Telia Finland , and I’m seeking an experienced, forward-looking HR leader to shape our culture and ensure our organization, leadership and capabilities evolve with our business and the changing world of work. You will work closely with me, the Finnish leadership team and our wider P&C organization. You combine strong business understanding with a passion for people and organizational development, and challenge us to use technology, AI, new capabilities and evolving ways of working to strengthen Telia. What you’ll do: You will lead Telia Finland’s P&C function—building a strong organization today while shaping how we work, lead and develop talent for the future. Lead the P&C function , setting direction for the team and translating business priorities and Telia’s People strategy into clear initiatives. Partner with senior leadership on business and workforce priorities, organizational development, performance and change, bringing a strong P&C perspective and constructive challenge to strategic decisions. Shape the future of work and build future-ready capabilities by anticipating how AI, digitalization and changing skill needs affect jobs, leadership and ways of working, and strengthening skills development, talent, internal mobility and succession. Advance data-driven HR , using workforce insights to identify priorities and support better organizational and talent decisions. Develop leaders, teams and the organization , enabling strong performance, continuous learning, collaboration and an engaging employee experience. Lead through transformation , helping leaders, the P&C team and employees navigate change while simplifying how we work and keeping delivery practical. Collaborate across Telia , connecting Finland with P&C colleagues and expertise across the Nordics and Baltics, contributing to shared priorities and adapting common approaches locally. What will help you thrive in this role: You are an HR leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. What matters is your breadth of experience, business acumen, leadership capability and readiness to lead a team while taking ownership of the full people agenda. Proven HR leadership experience as a Head of HR/CHRO or in another significant HR leadership role with broad business exposure, team leadership and responsibility—ideally in a large, complex, international organization. Strong business acumen , connecting workforce, organization and capability decisions with business strategy and outcomes. Experience leading organizational transformation , including leadership development, organizational design, evolving workforce and capability needs, and practical change implementation. A future-focused, analytical mindset , with sound judgement, a data-driven approach and strong interest in AI, digitalization and skills transformation. Strong stakeholder and collaboration skills , with the confidence to advise, influence and constructively challenge senior leaders while building trust across functions, countries and organizational boundaries. An empowering and accountable leadership style that creates clarity, develops the P&C team and enables people and teams to learn and perform at their best. Fluency in Finnish and English. The position is based in Helsinki, Finland.
