Data & ML Engineer – Helsinki We’re looking for a Data & ML Engineer to join a growing team developing data-driven products within the real estate sector. The company combines technology, analytics and machine learning to deliver insights into property values, housing markets and residential area trends, with solutions used by professionals across banking, real estate and investment. This is an opportunity to work in a product-focused environment where data engineering, machine learning and AI come together to build and improve real-world digital services. The Role You’ll work across the full data lifecycle, from collecting and processing data to deploying machine learning models and developing new AI-powered features. You’ll collaborate with the team to maintain reliable data pipelines, improve existing models and bring new capabilities into production. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining production data pipelines using Python, SQL and Airflow. Managing and improving the databases and cloud infrastructure supporting data products. Building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK. Developing CI/CD pipelines and supporting containerised deployments. Training, deploying, monitoring and retraining machine learning models in production. Working with Azure ML and AWS SageMaker to manage model lifecycles. Investigating changes in model performance and ensuring reliable results. Developing LLM-based features, including automated area descriptions and analysis of housing company data. Building APIs and integrating data and ML capabilities into customer-facing products. Requirements Around 3–4 years of relevant professional experience. Strong Python and SQL skills. Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines. Experience deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production. Knowledge of infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or AWS CDK. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker. Hands-on experience with AWS data services, such as S3, Redshift and Athena. Professional fluency in Finnish. Experience working in a product company or developing data-driven products.
