Senior Information Architect, Helsinki

About the role As a Senior Information Architect, you will translate complex business needs into clear conceptual models and a shared language. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, development teams, and data engineers to shape the organization's future data landscape. This role focuses on conceptual and logical data modeling, stakeholder facilitation, and establishing robust data governance to bridge the gap between business and technology. You will be working in hybrid model in Helsinki for at least 3 days a week at the office. Work tasks Create conceptual and logical data models based on business requirements Facilitate workshops and lead discussions between business areas and IT teams Define business glossaries, data catalogs, and data product concepts Develop information management and data governance processes Guide data engineers in the implementation of physical data modeling Establish a common terminology and shared data understanding across the organization We are looking for Advanced knowledge of conceptual and logical data modeling Proven experience facilitating workshops and managing diverse stakeholders Good understanding of Data Governance principles and data catalog tools Prior experience working as an Information Architect or Business Data Architect in large-scale projects Fluent English skills It is meritorious if you have Experience with data catalog tools such as Zeenea or Purview Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our client’s wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
