We Are Looking for an Experienced Chef for a High-End Indian Restaurant in Central Helsinki We are looking for a skilled and experienced chef to join our team at a high-end Indian restaurant located in the heart of Helsinki. The ideal candidate has a passion for cooking, values high-quality ingredients, and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences while respecting the traditions and authentic flavors of Indian cuisine. Job Responsibilities The role includes a wide range of daily kitchen duties, such as preparing and cooking dishes, handling and preparing ingredients, finishing and presenting dishes, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities also include maintaining consistent food quality, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and following all food safety, hygiene, and self-monitoring requirements. We expect the successful candidate to work efficiently during busy service hours, collaborate closely with the kitchen team, and contribute to the daily organization and continuous improvement of kitchen operations. What We Expect from You Previous experience as a chef and strong professional skills in a restaurant kitchen. Excellent cooking techniques and a solid understanding of the standards required in high-quality restaurant dining. Knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and traditional cooking methods. The ability to work independently, stay organized, and perform well under pressure. A responsible and detail-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to food quality and hygiene. Good teamwork and communication skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
