About the role We're excited to introduce Next.js into our development landscape and are looking for someone with strong expertise in the framework to help lead the journey. You will act as a catalyst for adoption, mentoring team members, promoting best practices, and strengthening the team's overall capability in Next.js. Working in one of our cross-functional agile teams, you will help design and deliver web services that provide smooth customer experiences across the Nordic countries. Together with your team, you will build web solutions and APIs using Azure-hosted services, leveraging C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Razor. Test automation and continuous integration are a natural part of your workflow. You will also collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and refine user stories. The team continuously improves these services and develops APIs that support other digital channels, including mobile apps. You will join a cross-functional agile team with colleagues in Turku, Espoo, Riga, and Stockholm. The team is supportive, ambitious, and committed to continuous improvement. You are passionate about development in an agile environment and contributing to software development and operations initiatives in your team. You enjoy sharing your Next.js expertise, coaching colleagues, and helping them build confidence in the framework. You are motivated by quality and good design and are always eager to learn more. You also have: Multiple years of experience in software development (mid or senior level) Deep knowledge of backend software development with C#/.NET Good understanding of REST API development (.NET) Front-end development experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript Experience with Azure, Git environments, pull requests, and code reviews Solid understanding of HTML and CSS (tailwind) Experience with integration of third-party services via API Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts and logic to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams Problem-solving and adaptability, including critical thinking and resourceful solution design Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with practices such as code reviews and pair programming Fluent English skills, both spoken and written Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, other AI assistants or agentic development is an advantage Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, or NoSQL Relevant bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent work experience Additional facts and the recruitment process Application deadline: Screening and interviewing will start immediately.
