DevOps Engineer

To support our long-term roadmap and ambitious technology goals, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help develop and maintain the infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable efficient, secure, and high-quality software and product delivery. We are seeking a hands-on professional with strong experience in DevOps toolchains, automation, CI/CD, and Kubernetes-based platforms. Your role As a DevOps Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the development infrastructure used throughout the product lifecycle, including the underlying network connectivity and security controls. The environment includes source code and artifact management, build and release automation, test infrastructure, Kubernetes-based platforms, and integrations supporting requirements management, verification, validation, and product releases. You will collaborate closely with development teams to streamline development workflows and introduce modern tools and practices that support developers in their daily work. Main Responsibilities Maintain and continuously improve the development environment and DevOps toolchain, manage source code repositories, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and artifact repositories. Design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient network connectivity for development, build, test and deployment environments and troubleshoot issues. Support network architecture and configuration for Kubernetes-based platforms, including ingress controls, load balancing, DNS, service connectivity, network policies and certificate management. Ensure development infrastructure complies with relevant standards, cybersecurity requirements, and regulations. Automate manual processes and drive continuous improvements in efficiency, reliability, traceability, and quality. Integrate security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into the software development lifecycle. Evaluate, implement, and support AI-powered tools that enhance developer productivity. Administer developer tools and software, integrate development data sources to provide clear visibility and reporting across the product development lifecycle. Your profile Our ideal candidate has a strong background in DevOps, automation, and software development tooling. You are a proactive, hands-on professional who can apply industry best practices to modern, highly secure and regulated engineering environments. Required Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent. Minimum five years of relevant experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, Software Tooling, or a similar role. Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, proxies, load balancing, TLS/PKI, and network segmentation. Experience with DevOps technologies such as GitLab, Git, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, or similar. Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes. Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating Kubernetes-based container platforms. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, secure software development, open-source software governance, and DevSecOps practices. Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions. Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar). Strong communication skills in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
