Process Engineer for Gold Projects, Metallurgy / Metso Finland Oy, Espoo

About the role This role is to support Metso's gold projects within the hydrometallurgy sector. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in global industrial projects, whether you are early in your engineering career or already have a few years of experience. Work tasks - Provide process engineering support for gold execution projects, focusing on hydrometallurgy sections. - Assist in developing core process documentation, including: - Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) - Mass balances and equipment lists - Process descriptions and functional specifications - Collaborate closely with project management, the broader engineering team, and a dedicated team member who will mentor and guide you through daily work. We are looking for - Educational Background: Degree in Process Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field. - Key Personal Attributes: Organized, reliable, and proactive worker with strong multitasking skills. - Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. Finnish language skills are considered a benefit. - Location: Possibility to work at the office in Espoo. It is a plus, if you already have some relevant working experience (e.g. process engineering or even experience with gold projects).
