Control Software Engineer (Embedded Software)

We are looking for a Control software engineer (embedded) for our client. Youll contribute to: - Developing advanced control solutions for electrical energy systems, power converters, and industrial drives. - In this role, you will work at the intersection of embedded software development, power engineering, power electronics and control systems. What Were Looking For: We are looking for person with combination of two following expertise areas. Knowledge / experience in both categories is mandatory but position is suitable also for freshly graduated person when background matches. 1) Knowledge of embedded software engineering a. Must have: - Experience in C, C++, Python - Knowledge of Git version control - Basic understanding of SW testing methods b. Seen as an asset: - Experience in unit testing, HIL testing, continuous integration - Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, static code analysis - Embedded SW development in large organizations with multiple teams 2) Knowledge of control engineering in context of electrical power engineering: - Knowledge of some of following application areas: Power conversion, Solar power systems, Battery energy storage systems, Wind power applications, Microgrids and smart grids - Understanding concepts of inverters, rectifiers, DC/DC converters, switching power supplies - Designing of control loops. stability and dynamic performance analysis, understanding feedback and feedforward control principles.
