Data Analyst

We are now looking for a Data Analyst to join our client company based in Helsinki! We are looking for a curious, analytical, and business-oriented Data Analyst to join a leading international organization. In this role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights that support better decision-making, improve operational performance, and drive profitable growth. You will collaborate closely with business leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions, helping them make data-driven decisions that create tangible value. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations. - Analyzing financial, operational, sales, customer, and productivity-related data. - Identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and performance deviations. - Creating structured datasets, data models, and reporting solutions. - Supporting KPI management and improving reporting consistency across the organization. - Integrating and validating data from multiple business systems and sources. - Investigating root causes behind business performance variations and recommending corrective actions. - Automating recurring reporting and analytical processes. - Utilizing Power Platform, SQL, Python, and AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and insight generation. - Collaborating with stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting practices, and decision-making processes. We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with curiosity, business understanding, and a desire to continuously improve ways of working. To succeed in this role, you likely have: - A relevant degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, finance, or performance management. - Strong skills in Power BI and Excel. - Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or other Power Platform solutions. - Knowledge of SQL and Python, particularly for data analysis, modelling, and automation. - The ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and understandable way. - Strong problem-solving skills and a natural curiosity to investigate underlying causes behind data trends. - Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills. - Fluency in English.
