Application Manager - SAP Commerce

About the role As our Application Manager, you will hold operational ownership of the MySSAB eCommerce platform. You will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and our development vendors, ensuring high system availability and continuous development. Work tasks Operational ownership, vendor management, and development coordination for the SAP Commerce customer portal. - Manage and coordinate development tasks with external vendors and IT partners - Perform requirement analysis and backlog grooming for the SAP Commerce solution - Oversee release management and ensure go-live readiness for new features - Collaborate actively with internal SAP, BI, CIAM, and MDM teams - Ensure high-quality documentation of processes, configurations, and features - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to transition from reactive to proactive development - Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups We are looking for - Advanced knowledge of SAP Commerce and SAP SD modules - Proven experience in vendor management and coordinating external development partners - Strong understanding of end-to-end eCommerce processes - Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English - Experience working with Agile methodologies It is meritorious if you have - Basic knowledge of BI, CIAM, MDM, or backend integration technologies - Experience in managing complex vendor relationships and contract alignment To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Stress tolerant - Responsible - Assertive - Intellectually curious Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
