Data Automation Specialist (Alteryx) for the banking sector, Helsinki

About the role In this role, you will play a key part in end-to-end reporting processes, data handling, and process automation by leveraging Alteryx and SQL to build and optimize efficient data workflows. Bridging the gap between financial/risk data and regulatory reporting standards, you will collaborate across functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality outputs that directly support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Work tasks This role is focused on leveraging Alteryx, SQL, and Excel to automate data workflows and improve reporting efficiency. - Reporting & Data Automation: Design, maintain, and automate end-to-end data workflows and reporting systems for ESG and Pillar 3 requirements. - Data Management: Process, clean, and analyze complex datasets from multiple sources ensuring data integrity and consistency. - Process Improvement: Continuously refine reporting workflows and adopt a flexible approach to changing regulatory environments and system updates. - Cross-Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Communicate reporting outputs, process changes, and analytical insights effectively to internal and external stakeholders while collaborating across the organization to align disclosures with requirements. We are looking for - 2+ years of professional experience in data handling, reporting, and process automation - Advanced knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of SQL - Good / advanced expertise in Alteryx for workflow automation - Fluency in English with strong cross-team collaboration skills - A flexible approach and adaptability towards business and process changes It is meritorious if you have - Skills with Python - Understanding of banks' balance sheet structures - Experience with ESG reporting or knowledge of ESG concepts - Experience in reporting system development and end-to-end process handling   To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Change oriented - Goal oriented - Responsible Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
