Senior Sales Engineer, Embedded — EMEA

About the Role As Sr. Sales Engineer, Embedded for EMEA , you are the primary technical resource for our embedded sales team in the region — qualifying prospects, showing them, what Tuxera's software makes possible, and driving the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle alongside the sales lead. The territory is broad: automotive tier-1s, industrial automation, medical devices and consumer electronics, spread from the Nordics to Southern Europe and beyond. That variety is the appeal of the job and its main challenge — several customers, verticals and internal stakeholders will want your time at once, and their priorities will conflict. This is a senior role for that reason. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their own prioritization, says "not this week" when it's the right answer, and works sustainably rather than heroically. The role can be based in — Finland, Germany or Hungary — whichever puts you closest to your customers and your own life. You'll work in a hybrid setup, with regular travel across EMEA to be where the customers are. What Will You Do Deliver on-site and web-based presentations and demos to prospects across EMEA Own the technical side of the sales cycle: scope evaluations, guide proof-of-concepts, validate that the solution design fits the customer's real requirements Assess where our software creates value for a prospect and shape a credible implementation plan Keep sales, R&D and services aligned on what the customer needs Set your own priorities across parallel accounts and regions, and communicate them clearly Carry field insight back to product and engineering Build the technical collateral the sales process needs, and keep your product and roadmap knowledge current What You Bring Senior-level experience in pre-sales, field applications or solutions engineering, ideally around embedded software Proven ability to run multiple accounts in parallel and prioritize independently under competing demands Comfort moving between verticals — automotive, industrial, medical, consumer, telco — and adapting to different business cultures across Europe A working understanding of embedded software development projects, and of embedded storage (file systems, flash translation layers) and/or TCP/IP-based secure connectivity The ability to shift registers: deeply technical with engineers, business-focused with decision makers Familiarity with functional safety or cyber security standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus excellent communication across cultures and time zones Willingness to travel within EMEA Fluent English; an additional European language (German especially) is a strong plus A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field A strong plus: flash memory or embedded storage industry background, experience with long-cycle design-win accounts, and a track record of mentoring junior colleagues Our culture At Tuxera, our values - Earn Trust, Create Customer Impact, Grow Together, and Aim Higher - shape how we work, collaborate, and succeed together.
