Job Description

Tiivistelmä työpaikkailmoituksesta: You will develop data-driven ways of working in Wärtsilä Energy’s Supply Chain Management by building Power BI reports, data products, KPIs and improving data structure for procurement and strategic sourcing. The role involves hands-on data work and project coordination while collaborating with supply chain professionals and data experts to turn business needs into practical solutions and to explore AI and automation tools. Candidates should have several years of project coordination or development experience, a relevant academic background, hands-on Power BI and reporting skills, and strong English communication. Key responsibilities In this position, your focus will be on developing more data-driven ways of working within Wärtsilä Energy’s Supply Chain Management organisation, particularly in procurement and strategic sourcing. You will work hands-on with data and Power BI, develop reports and data products, define KPIs and help improve how supply chain data is structured and used. You will work closely with supply chain professionals and data specialists to develop ideas further and turn business needs into practical data solutions. You will coordinate development projects and explore how new tools, including AI and intelligent agents, could support supply chain processes. You will be supported by Wärtsilä’s data experts on more technically demanding topics, but you are also expected to be a hands-on contributor who develops solutions and drives improvements from idea to implementation. You are comfortable taking ownership, bringing structure to development work and moving things forward independently. You communicate clearly with different stakeholders and are willing to test and learn when working with new tools and topics. You are also comfortable coordinating projects and keeping development work moving forward in collaboration with others.
