Job Description

About the role As a Data Analyst in KONE Nordics, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable business insights that improve performance, profitability, productivity, and customer outcomes across the Nordic service business. This role combines data analytics, pricing and operational analysis, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will work closely with business stakeholders, service leaders,operations and pricing team to turn complex business challenges into clear insights. Work tasks - Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations for frontline decision-making. - Analyze financial, repair sales, operational, safety and customer-related data to identify trends, deviations, risks, and opportunities. - Translate complex data into clear insights and practical recommendations for business leaders and frontline teams. - Build structured datasets, data models, and reporting solutions - Support performance management by improving KPI visibility, standardizing KPI definitions, and ensuring consistent reporting logic across the Nordics. - Collect, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, production systems, and financial platforms - Analyze pricing, margins, order intake, backlog, revenue, cost, productivity, and resource utilization to support profitable growth. - Challenge numbers constructively and investigate the root causes behind deviations, trends, or unexpected results. - Explore and apply AI, advanced analytics, Copilot capabilities, and automation tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, and decision quality. - Develop automated reporting and recurring analysis solutions to reduce manual work and improve reliability. - Use modern analytics tools, Power Platform capabilities, Python, SQL, and AI-assisted methods to experiment quickly and build practical data solutions. - Combine and structure data from multiple systems and sources, such as ERP, CRM, finance, field operations, sales, service, and planning systems. - Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement areas, and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them. We are looking for - Relevant academic background, for example in data analytics, finance, economics, information systems, computer science, or a similar field. - Experience and strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence, finance, reporting, or operational performance management. - Practical experience with Power BI, Excel, and data handling. - Experience with Power Platform tools, such as Power Automate and Power Apps. - Strong foundation in SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, and modelling is a plus - Ability to build dashboards, structure datasets, analyze performance, and present clear insights. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge data and as why. - Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain data-driven insights in a simple and structured way. - Proactive, structured, and collaborative way of working. - Fluency in English. - Curiosity and willingness to challenge existing ways of working. - Growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
