This team delivers various software solutions for our clients in industrial domain by creating solutions for intelligent devices such as drones, forest machinery and other industrial solutions. Projects may vary from web software development projects to Industrial IoT and Edge Computing projects. You can choose your preferred work location from any of the following locations: Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Tampere or Turku. Your role as a Senior Software Developer In this role, you will develop and maintain secure and scalable software solutions for our industrial customers. You will help translate customer needs into practical technical solutions and provide hands-on expertise throughout the project lifecycle—from early problem definition to implementation and continuous improvement. As an experienced developer, you also take part in architectural decisions that ensure high-quality, reliable delivery at project level. You work closely with customers and teams, combining strong technical skills with a consultative approach to ensure solutions meet both business and technical goals. Depending on your level of experience and responsibility, your monthly salary will range between 5200-6200€. What we expect from you Several years of relevant experience in middleware software development using some of the following technologies: Java/Kotlin, C#, TypeScript, Python, or Go. Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Previous experience in software development projects related to IoT, or Edge Computing. You are a trusted advisor to customers: capable of communicating complex technical concepts clearly, challenging assumptions constructively, and guiding stakeholders towards technology decisions that align with business objectives and create long-term value. Familiarity with key industrial technologies and platforms such as Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, Kubernetes, KubeEdge, OPC UA, MQTT, and Crosser is highly beneficial. Interest in the opportunities enabled by artificial intelligence, along with practical experience using AI either in a professional or personal context. Your Role as a Software Architect As a Software Architect, your responsibilities include the design and development of software solutions as well as providing technical leadership to project teams. You will work closely with both customers and project teams to develop solutions that address customer needs. You will support, challenge, and guide customers in focusing on the right problems, with the goal of delivering maximum business value. In addition to project work, you will have the opportunity to influence future projects by supporting sales activities as a technical expert. This includes assisting with proposal preparation, participating in customer meetings, and performing requirements definition and architecture design activities. We will discuss the exact scope and focus of your role based on your experience, skills, and interests. Depending on your level of experience and responsibility, your monthly salary will range between 5700-6700€. In addition to the software development competencies above, we also expect you to: Have experience working in a hands-on Software Architect role, with the ability to define and design the technical foundations and architecture of projects. Act as a bridge between business and technology by translating customers’ business requirements into robust, sustainable technical solutions. Have participated in pre-sales discussions with prospective and existing customers in the role of a technical expert, and be motivated to contribute as part of a team during proposal and tender processes.
