Job Description

We are looking for a **Senior Engineer, Offering & Product Structures** Senior Engineer, Offering & Product Structures, responsible for creating and maintaining machine BOM and product structures based on customer order intake, and for the customer-specified feature (B-feature) development for Normet's Engineering organization. In this role you will work together with our Engineering team and collaborate with Chief Engineers, Product Line VPs, production and subcontractors across the world, reporting to a Director, Global Project Management. The role is based in Iisalmi, Finland. **Main responsibilities and tasks:** - Creating and maintaining machine BOM structures based on customer order intake and updating MAXBOM and Forecast BOM structures according to Sovelia and the configuration system. - Managing customer-specified feature (B-feature) development and coordinating design tasks needed by engineering and subcontractors. - Compiling and commissioning customer application projects and product structures within the agreed schedule and ensuring their correctness. - Monitors and evaluates component selections, performance goals and functional goals for B products / product B features together with the corresponding chief engineers of product development - Following NorMes messages and taking corrective actions accordingly, while providing technical support to the production team. - Project scheduling, resourcing and reporting, including joining BOM creation in the Ramp-up phase with Chief Engineers **To shine in this position, we hope you have:** - Relevant working experience in engineering, BOM or product structure roles, ideally within the machine industry. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE, BSc, MSc) or an equivalent field. - Experience with configurator tools and intermediate to advanced Excel skills. - Strong co-operation skills and the capability to manage large amounts of data, with a deep understanding of modular product structures, mass customization and production processes. - Good command of Finish and English, both written and spoken, along with knowledge of vehicle technology and components used in devices.
