Indian Chef

Hello We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Chef to join our team at Indian Restaurant Zaika Bar & Grill , Turku. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Indian cuisine, excellent cooking skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. Key Responsible - Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, biryani, naan and other Indian specialties. - Ensure consistent taste, quality, presentation and portion sizes. - Prepare ingredients and manage daily kitchen operations efficiently. - Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen saftey. - Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management. - Work efficiently during busy restaurant service hours. - Minimize food waste and maintain good kitchen organization. - Work closely with the restaurant management and kitchen team. - Assist in developing and improving dishes and menu items when required. **Requirements** - Previous professional experience as an Indian Chef or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine , especially North Indian cuisine. - Experience with curries, tandoori. biryani, naan and vegetarian dishes. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. - Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. - Flexible to work evening, weekends and public holidays. - Reliable, responsible and professional attitude. - Valid right to work in Finland. **We offer** - Competitive salary based on experience and skills. - A professional and friendly working rnvironment. - Opportunities for professional development. - Employee meals. - Stable work in a growing restaurant.
