Job description **Position:** Waiter/Waitress (zero-hour contract at the start) **Location:** Aito Fresh, Helsinki **Reports to:** Manager/Supervisor Responsibilities **1\. Customer service** · Welcome customers, explain menu options when needed, take orders and process payments. · Provide friendly, attentive service and respond to customer requests. **2\. Food preparation** · Prepare poke bowls and keep ingredients fresh, well-stocked and presentable. · Follow the restaurants food-safety and hygiene practices. **3\. Restaurant operations** · Keep the service area clean, restock supplies and help the restaurant run smoothly. · Work closely with the team during busy periods, including weekends and holidays. Requirements **Experience:** Previous restaurant experience is an advantage; training is provided. **Skills:** Good communication, attention to detail and the ability to learn the point-of-sale system. **Attitude:** A focus on customer experience and an interest in finding practical ways to improve daily work efficiency. **Languages:** Finnish is an advantage, but not required **Other:** Ability to work at a steady pace, stand for periods and handle food supplies; availability for weekend or holiday shifts. A Finnish Hygiene Passport is required for handling unpackaged perishable foods within the statutory time limit. An alcohol-serving proficiency certificate (anniskelupassi) is not required at the start; the employee must obtain it if it becomes necessary for the role.
