About the role As a Software Test Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to testing embedded systems for HVAC products. You will start with guided onboarding, gradually taking on test automation and manual testing tasks using modern AI-assisted tools. Work tasks In this role, you will become a key part of a dynamic software testing team working on exciting product projects. You will start by learning the products and test environments with hands-on guidance from senior colleagues, gradually taking on more technical responsibilities. Your days will focus on automation, but you will also get your hands dirty with manual testing directly on the devices. Conducting test automation and manual testing for hardware and embedded software Working daily with tools such as Robot Framework, Jenkins, Python, Jira, and GitHub Collaborating closely with a team of 2-3 experts per project to test new features Utilizing AI tools to assist and optimize your testing processes Following and maintaining safety protocols within the laboratory environment We are looking for Educational background in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (completed studies) Minimum one year of relevant work experience Strong interest in working with embedded software and hardware Excellent learning agility and enthusiasm for adopting new AI-driven workflows Fluent communication skills in English Basic understanding of software testing principles It is meritorious if you have Fluent Finnish skills Basic knowledge of tools like Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Jira, or GitHub Familiarity with AI technologies or hands-on experience using AI in projects Other infromation: Start: As soon as possible Employment period: Permanent contract with Academic Work Location: Vantaa Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our client’s wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
