Senior Electrical Design Engineer

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. Note! This application is only for individuals already residing in Finland, and relocation is not possible. Key responsibilities: · Lead and coordinate electrical design work within product development projects. · Select, dimension, and specify main and auxiliary circuit components for electrical cabinets. · Design prototype test cabinets and specify type testing requirements, including environmental and dielectric verification. · Contribute to concept-level electrical architecture and technical decision-making. Requirements: · Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D.). · Previous experience in lead or senior electrical design roles. · Understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, component dimensioning, and relevant standards. · Experience with electrical engineering design tools. · Ability to manage both detailed design tasks and the overall technical picture. Preferred: · Hands-on experience with type testing procedures and documentation. · Experience with electrical wiring and harness design. · EPLAN product family experience is beneficial but not required (2D/3D).
