CNC VERTICAL TURNING LATHE OPERATOR / CNC MACHINIST We are looking for an experienced CNC Vertical Turning Lathe Operator / CNC Machinist to join our customer´s skilled manufacturing team in Pöytyä, Finland. This is an opportunity to work with challenging, large-scale components in a modern machining environment. Machine park includes the BOST VTL 68 CY vertical turning lathe, one of the largest vertical lathes in the Nordic countries. Key Responsibilities * CNC machining and turning of large and demanding workpieces * Setup and operation of Siemens-controlled vertical turning lathes * Running, editing, and optimizing machining programs * Performing measurements and quality control * Collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient manufacturing We Expect * Experience in CNC turning and/or CNC machining * Knowledge of Siemens CNC controls * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Good understanding of measuring equipment and quality requirements * Independent and responsible working attitude We Value * Experience with vertical turning lathes (VTL) * Experience machining large workpieces * Multi-axis machining expertise * Experience with overhead cranes and heavy component handling * CAD/CAM knowledge What We Offer * Permanent employment in a stable and growing company * Opportunity to work with one of the largest vertical turning lathes in the Nordic region * Modern machinery and technically demanding projects * Competitive salary based on experience and skills * Supportive and professional work environment About the Machine A key part of our production is the BOST VTL 68 CY vertical turning lathe, capable of machining workpieces up to 8.2 metres in diameter, 5.4 metres in height, and 120 tonnes in weight. The machine is equipped with a dedicated measuring probe, a milling head enabling 5-axis machining, and Siemens control.
