Experienced with C#/.NET and React? Join Granlund to take ownership of a growing software platform and shape its future development!
What will you be doing?
Granlund is looking for a
Senior Full Stack Developer
to further develop its Design Data Management (DDM) platform. DDM transforms building information models into structured, usable data for cost, lifecycle, and 4D calculations. The platform is already in production, with new features and use cases actively being explored. Your work will help turn these opportunities into practical solutions for the construction and real estate industry.
In this role, you will develop the DDM platform, focusing mainly on C#/.NET backend development and SQL Server, while also working with React and TypeScript on the frontend. You will develop new features end-to-end, improve existing functionality, and propose practical technical and architectural solutions. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining code quality through automated testing and controlled releases.
You will collaborate with colleagues across different business areas to develop solutions that address real business needs. Beyond implementing new features, you will evaluate technical feasibility and help prioritize development efforts. Initially, your focus will include turning existing proofs of concept into usable features.
What makes you a great fit?
We are looking for an experienced developer who has a strong background in software development and actively uses AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor. You understand software architecture, can critically evaluate AI-generated code, and enjoy building software.
You take ownership of your work and approach development with a practical, business-oriented mindset. You can assess business needs, identify what is worth developing, and suggest technical solutions that make sense. You also know when something is not worth implementing and can explain why.
You are comfortable working independently in a small team and collaborating with others to make technical decisions. You don't need previous experience in construction or real estate; we welcome applications from developers across all industries.
We hope you have:
Several years of backend development experience, ideally with C#/.NET, and strong SQL skills Experience with React and TypeScript, and the ability to develop frontend features independently A good understanding of software architecture, clean code, and automated testing Hands-on experience building software with AI coding agents, and the judgement to review their output Good communication skills in English or Finnish We consider as an asset:
Experience with Python and data processing tools, such as FastAPI, pandas, pyarrow, or IfcOpenShell Experience working with large language models or developing AI-powered features Familiarity with Azure services and CI/CD pipelines Experience combining data from different sources into structured, usable information Experience in product development, startups, or other environments requiring broad technical ownership.
What does Granlund offer you?
An opportunity to take ownership of a growing software platform and directly influence its technical development.
Meaningful work turning complex building data into solutions that support smarter and more sustainable construction.
The freedom to shape technical solutions and see your ideas progress from early concepts into working features.
A small, collaborative team within an established company, with potential to grow into product or team leadership.
Flexible remote and hybrid working arrangements that allow you to combine independent development with in-person collaboration.
Comprehensive employee benefits, including occupational healthcare, sports and cultural benefits, and professional development opportunities.
Practicalities
This is a permanent, full-time position, and you will be employed directly by Granlund. The role offers flexible remote and hybrid working arrangements. Still, we hope you are based in the Helsinki metropolitan area or nearby to make it easier to meet in person for collaboration and workshops at Granlund's office in Malmi when needed. We hope you can start as soon as possible, but the exact start date is negotiable.
Salary in this position is approximately 6000-8000 €/month. The final salary will be determined based on your experience and expertise. Granlund also offers a company-wide performance bonus scheme.
