Engineering Project Manager

Were Hiring: Engineering Project Manager Join Nanocomp as an Engineering Project Manager in Lehmo, Finland. We are looking for a motivated and proactive professional to support engineering projects and develop manufacturing processes for advanced micro- and nanostructured optical components. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering, project, and sales teams, combining technical expertise with project coordination and customer collaboration. Responsibilities Develop and improve engineering processes related to microstructure fabrication, including laser lithography, electroforming tooling, and UV imprinting Take responsibility for technical engineering details and provide support for internal and external projects Collaborate with project teams and Project Managers on engineering-related activities Participate in customer communication together with Sales and Project teams Identify development opportunities, prepare proposals for internal engineering projects, and manage their implementation Requirements M.Sc. in Engineering, Optics or a comparable degree in a relevant field Experience in optics, lithography, nano- and microstructures or cleanroom processes Proactive, systematic, and solution-oriented approach to work Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in cross-functional teams Technology-, customer-, and goal-oriented mindset with the confidence to take initiative and drive projects forward Fluent English, both spoken and written Willingness to travel when required Willingness to work on-site in the Joensuu area Salary The salary range for this position is 4000–4700 € per month for junior candidates and 5300-6500 € per month for senior candidates , depending on experience and qualifications.
