Due to continued growth, the business is looking to strengthen its sales team in Finland by appointing a technically minded and commercially driven sales professional.

The Role
Reporting directly to the European Sales Director, you will take responsibility for developing sales and customer relationships across your designated territory in Finland.
This is a varied technical sales position combining approximately 60% strategic account management with 40% new business development. You will manage established customer relationships while identifying opportunities to win new business, develop existing accounts, and introduce additional products and solutions.
Working across a diverse range of industrial and manufacturing environments, you will develop an understanding of customer requirements and demonstrate how the company's technical solutions can improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance operational performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and developing relationships with established industrial customers.
Identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across your territory.
Developing relationships with engineers, maintenance professionals, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.
Identifying opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling, upselling, and the introduction of additional products.
Understanding customer applications and recommending appropriate technical solutions.
Building long-term relationships by demonstrating the value of product quality, reliability, and technical support.
Developing opportunities across a broad range of industrial sectors.
Working collaboratively with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
This is a home-based position offering autonomy in managing your territory and developing your customer base, with travel to customer sites as required.
The Candidate
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded technical sales professional with an understanding of mechanical engineering and a proven ability to develop customer relationships and win business.
Experience selling rotating equipment, pumps, valves, mechanical seals, bearings, motors, or related industrial components would be advantageous. However, our client is open to candidates from other technical engineering and manufacturing sectors who can demonstrate the right combination of technical aptitude, sales ability, and commercial drive.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience in external B2B technical sales.
A strong understanding of mechanical engineering, industrial equipment, or related technologies.
A track record of developing existing accounts and generating new business.
The ability to identify commercial opportunities and develop relationships with a diverse range of customers.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive, commercially driven approach and a genuine enthusiasm for sales.
The ability to understand technical customer requirements and communicate the value of engineered solutions.
Experience within rotating equipment, pumps, valves, mechanical seals, bearings, or associated industrial markets would be beneficial but is not essential.
A mechanical engineering qualification or relevant engineering apprenticeship would be advantageous. Candidates with equivalent practical engineering knowledge and technical aptitude will a
