WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR As a Data Engineer at Recordly, you'll get your hands dirty building real data solutions; pipelines, platforms, and models that create tangible value for our customers. Your background can be in software engineering or already in the data world. We're a tech-agnostic consultancy, and we value broad data expertise over mastery of any single tool. We hope you have a few years of relevant experience. Technical requirements Core expectations (you don’t need to tick every box, but most should feel familiar): Hands-on experience building data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data modeling Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or another programming language (Scala, Java, JavaScript) Understanding of at least one cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP) particularly the data services side Solid fundamentals in version control (Git) and CI/CD practices Experience or solid understanding of modern data platforms. Nice to have: Experience with modern data stack tools: Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, or Microsoft based data platforms Understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture or data warehousing fundamentals Awareness of DataOps practices and data quality management Interest in BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Omni) and data visualization. What we're especially looking for right now: Experience with Snowflake, preferably alongside dbt End-to-end solutions built on Databricks. Language requirements: In addition to English, we require fluent written and spoken Finnish skills, as a significant part of our customer work is conducted in Finnish. Location: This role is based in Finland. Currently, we offer permanent remote work opportunities within the country. We cannot provide relocation support.
