Process Expert, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

About the role In this role, you will lead the process design and documentation for direct sourcing, category management, and supplier management. You will work closely with geographically dispersed teams and act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical SAP templates. Your assertiveness and expertise will drive the alignment towards SAP standard solutions. Work tasks This role involves leading the documentation, design, and harmonization of sourcing and category management processes to prepare for a major SAP S/4HANA ERP transformation. Lead the documentation and design of Core Category Management, Supplier Management, and Sourcing processes Conduct gap analyses between current processes and SAP standard processes Facilitate alignment to achieve an end-state as close to SAP standard as possible Lead data harmonization and preparation efforts for the upcoming ERP transformation Define tool requirements to support the transition and change of sourcing systems Define training and change management needs, acting as a Subject Matter Expert Support current Global Process Owner (GPO) resources throughout the project We are looking for Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA standard processes in Source-to-Pay (STP) Good experience in STP process transformation and process documentation Ability to bridge technical requirements with business needs Strong communication skills in English, with the assertiveness to challenge stakeholders Other information: Start: In October Employment period: Six months, possibility to extension Location: Mostly remote work, occasional visits to Helsinki Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our client’s wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
