Työn kuvaus

Are you ready to lead complex industrial investment projects that shape a safer, more efficient and more sustainable future? We are looking for experienced Project Directors to join Swecos growing industrial projects organisation. In this role, you will lead demanding multidisciplinary industrial projects from early project development through execution and handover. Your projects may follow EPCM or similar delivery models and can include a broad range of industrial investments, such as process industry and data centre projects. As a Project Director, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of large and demanding industrial investment projects, or broader project portfolios. You will lead the project at a strategic and commercial level, from early project development through execution, commissioning and handover. We are looking for senior professionals with strong experience in leading project delivery, building high-performing project organisations and working closely with clients and partners. At Sweco, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on major industrial investments together with leading experts across disciplines. The role may require travel within Finland and, depending on the project, internationally. What helps you succeed in this role You have a relevant technical degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent engineering qualification) and 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles. You have a proven track record of successfully delivering industrial investment projects and strong experience in EPCM, PMC, Owner's Engineering or similar industrial project delivery environments. You are an experienced project leader with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, build and develop high-performing project organisations, and manage complex interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. You are comfortable leading large project organisations, managing schedules, budgets, risks and commercial matters, and working effectively with clients and diverse stakeholders. You communicate and negotiate confidently in English; Finnish and/or Swedish skills are an advantage. Experience from projects within process industries, energy, manufacturing, mining, chemicals and data centres is particularly valued. What we offer you - A curious, courageous and supportive Sweco community. At Sweco, we work together with a low hierarchy and a strong culture of trust. You will be surrounded by experienced colleagues who are ready to share their knowledge, challenge ideas constructively and support you when needed. - Meaningful and influential projects. You will lead projects that support the renewal of industry and contribute to a more sustainable society. Our work has a concrete impact on the environment where people live, work and move. - Opportunities to grow and shape your career. We support your professional development through demanding assignments, peer support and the learning opportunities provided by Sweco Academy. - Flexibility for a balanced everyday life. We believe that work and life should support one another. We combine office-based and remote work flexibly according to the needs of the project and the team. As this is a client- and project-driven leadership role, regular on-site work and travel are expected. - Comprehensive employee benefits. You can tailor parts of your benefits package to suit your individual needs. Interested? Please submit your application via the link provided by Monday, 19 October 2026.
