Senior Embedded Engineer / AI-Assisted Development We are looking for Senior Embedded Engineer / AI-Assisted Development to our team.
Key Responsibilities Include
Optimise the existing logger codebase for legacy hardware, potentially based on an STM microcontroller, while working within severely limited flash-memory capacity.
Integrate a new probe and extend the logger’s data-acquisition and data-logging capabilities to support it.
Ensure end-to-end data integrity and protection against tampering, both within the logger and throughout the downstream data chain.
Design and configure agentic workflows capable of managing multiple repositories alongside embedded-systems development requirements.
Collaborate with existing test strategies and harnesses to validate functionality, performance, security, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
Strong embedded C/C++ development experience.
Hands-on Embedded Linux and RTOS experience.
Experience with STM32 or similar constrained hardware, legacy codebases, and limited flash/memory.
Ability to work with sensor/data-logger systems, ideally temperature/RH measurement.
Understanding of communication chains such as LoRa and cloud-connected embedded products.
Practical secure-development experience: data integrity, tamper resistance, and testing in regulated environments.
Proven use of AI coding tools and agentic development workflows—e.g. Claude/LLM agents that inspect multiple repositories, implement changes, run tests, and refine solutions.
Ability to take ownership of an ambiguous technical problem and establish a manageable AI-assisted development process.
Comfortable working directly with the customer and quickly internalising the product domain.
