Lead Chef for the Winter Season at Kittilä Airport

Take responsibility for the daily operations of Premium Catering in Lapland Airpro Premium Catering provides high-quality food services for private aviation customers, lounge guests, VIP travelers, and exclusive events across Lapland. We are now looking for a Lead Chef for the winter season at Kittilä Airport. In addition to daily food preparation, you will play a key role in coordinating kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of our Premium Catering services. Your responsibilities include - Coordinating daily food production activities - Managing purchasing and supplier orders - Maintaining inventory control and stock management - Overseeing food safety and self-monitoring procedures - Supporting menu development and service concepts - Assisting with onboarding and guiding seasonal team members - Participating in catering services at private villas, cabins, and premium customer events when required We expect you to have - Culinary education - Experience in kitchen operations and/or supervisory responsibilities - A valid Hygiene Passport - Strong organizational and communication skills - Good English language skills are required. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage. - Valid Category B driving licence - Ability to combine hands-on work with operational responsibility Previous experience in catering, event catering, aviation catering, or premium hospitality services is considered an advantage. In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Privacy in Working Life, the selected candidate must provide an approved drug test result as part of the pre-employment health examination. Employment The employment period starts in October-November 2026 and continues until March-April 2027. Salary will be based on your experience and qualifications.
