Tiivistelmä työpaikkailmoituksesta: The Project Manager Product Development role is based at Stora Enso's Oulu Mill in Finland and supports development of high-quality packaging board and barrier products. You will lead and execute product development projects, design and conduct full-scale trials at the new board machine (BM6), and report project activities and results. The role requires an MSc and at least five years' relevant experience, strong fiber and multi-layer board knowledge, and professional proficiency in Finnish and English. Together with our customers, we design and deliver competitive, high-quality packaging materials and solutions, made from fresh and recycled fibers, accelerating the transition to a circular bioeconomy. Product Development unit belongs to the Stora Enso Innovation and R&D organization. This position is located at the Oulu Mill and you will report to the Technical Product Manager FBB & CKB, Oulu Mill. The Product Development team Oulu is a diverse and multi-disciplinary team belonging to the Group Innovation and R&D organization. We are developing new board and barrier products in line with our customers’ needs. The team acts as a link between sales, factories and research and development. About the position We are looking for an innovative partner to assist in the development of high-quality packaging materials. The work covers qualifying new and modified products in accordance with the product line’s strategies. The position holder is also expected to contribute to strategic projects and assist in optimising production processes, as well as product quality. As a Project Manager your responsibilities will include: Projects - You will work on project’s at the new board machine 6, (BM6). You will design, participate in, lead, execute, and report on projects and project activities within product development with input from customers, suppliers, and colleagues. Trials– Conduct full-scale trials at BM6, contributing to the process of bringing new products to life as well as modifying existing products. Collaborattion – Collaborate with our diverse customer base, external partners, and internal functions to enhance our product portfolio. Communication - Report on your own work according to guidelines. Present own work and own competence area in internal and external. Participate in customer meetings with expertise. Support - Assist operations in the defined responsibility area, contributing to the efficient and effective functioning of our production processes. About you We are looking for someone, who has solid competence and experience in board concept designing and implementation into the full-scale operations. To excel in this role, you need good fiber knowledge and understanding of a multi-layer board construction. The knowledge in board converting would be an advantage in developing the concepts successfully into the desired stage. MSc degree is regarded as applicable competence level in this role as well as at least 5 years of working experience in relevant fields. In addition, professional working proficiency in Finnish and English is required. Managing this role successfully requires good communication and coordination of parallel activities. Effectively communicating technical information to both internal and external stakeholders is crucial,and your ability to establish strong relationships is vital to achieving our collective objectives.
