Senior C++/Windows Software Engineer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR Senior C++/Windows Software Engineer We are looking for a Senior C++/Windows Software Engineer to join Unikie team. In this role, you will join our international development team and work on a long-term software development assignment. The role is well suited to a self-directed developer who is a strong troubleshooter, learns quickly and is proactive in sharing knowledge. Skills Required C++ MFC Windows Programming Debugging Software Integration Locations Tampere REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong, hands-on C++ development experience in production software. Experience developing C++ software for Windows, including user-facing applications and/or background services. Practical experience developing or supporting protocol gateways and integrations that enable different systems to exchange data. Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex software problems, including application crashes, crash dumps and memory-related issues using Visual Studio. Good working knowledge of Git for managing source code and collaborating with developers. Basic understanding of computer networking and redundancy, including connection failures, reconnection and failover. Experience working with virtual machines or other virtualized development and test environments. Self-directed and able to work independently. A strong troubleshooter who takes ownership of difficult problems. A quick learner willing to learn the basics of a new software platform. Collaborative and proactive in sharing knowledge.
