Are you ready to jump onboard? Project Engineer, Manufacturing related projects We are always on the lookout for a talent with a growth mindset – are you the one? We are looking for a motivated and proactive Project Engineer, Projects with a main responsibility in Manufacturing operational projects. In this role, you will support and drive development activities related to manufacturing workshops process, factory maintenance, and other production-related projects. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid work. Your role and responsibilities As a Project Engineer your work will include Lead/Co-lead projects at Component Delivery Manufacturing organization. The projects can also be adjusted based on your individual skills, experience and interests at areas of Machining, Industrial robotic & Automation system, Sub-assembly or Factory Maintenance. You’ll be working as a part of Manufacturing Technology organisation with wide expertise of automation, project management and maintenance knowhow. Your work will focus on these responsibilities: Planning and executing manufacturing-related development projects (Managing the scope, sourcing, FAT/SAT testing, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing assets) Supporting factory maintenance in development projects, including preventive and predictive maintenance projects Identifying improvement opportunities in production processes, equipment reliability, workflow, quality, and productivity Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical solutions and project implementation Supporting digitalisation and data-driven development initiatives in the factory environment To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have: B.Sc or M.Sc degree in engineering, such as automation, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field Experience areas such as manufacturing process (Machining or Sub-assemblies), Factory maintenance, Automation system (industrial Robotic cell), or production engineering Experience in project management models and/or continuous improvement method (e.g. Lean manufacturing, Sig Sigma, kaizen) Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Finnish Why you and us?
