Job posting end date: 09/22/2026 We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Hydrometallurgy Sourcing Team within the Minerals Business Area. The purpose of this role is to improve plant area profitability and support business growth by developing a cost-competitive, high-quality, and innovative supplier base and by driving improvement in availability and lead times. In this role, you will support solution sales teams during the proposal phase and manage a global network of third-party suppliers to ensure competitive customer offerings and successful project execution. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for third-party plant equipment, aligned with business priorities and growth objectives, and translate these into actionable procurement roadmaps. You will drive supplier development, lead commercial negotiations, manage supplier performance, and support project delivery activities. Working closely with Sales & Proposals, Project Management, Product Groups, Engineering, and R&D, you will act as a key procurement partner across the organization. In addition, you will collaborate with Supplier Quality and Market Area Procurement teams to implement sourcing initiatives, mitigate risks, and continuously improve supplier performance. More specifically you will be responsible for Solution sales support Act as the procurement lead for solution (Concentrator and Hydrometallurgical plants) sales opportunities in close collaboration with sales stakeholders and regional Procurement Hubs. Lead the RFQ process for third-party equipment during the proposal phase, ensuring competitive pricing, supplier responsiveness, and risk awareness. Ensure project readiness for third-party equipment (suppliers approved, supplier quotations in line with agreed T&C’s etc.) Support proposal teams with market intelligence, cost competitiveness analyses, and supplier insights. Develop and continuously improve pricing tools and cost models together with engineering teams to enhance quotation accuracy and efficiency. Strategic Sourcing Define and execute sourcing strategies for third-party equipment used in Concentrator and Hydrometallurgical plants, aligned with business priorities and growth objectives. Translate sourcing strategies into procurement roadmaps and actionable development plans. Build and develop a competitive, high-performing, and responsive supplier base. Identify and implement Best-Cost-Country sourcing opportunities and expand the supplier network through qualification and development of new suppliers. Drive improvements in supplier lead times, availability, and overall supply chain resilience. Own supplier performance management across cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability dimensions. Ensure early sourcing involvement in product development and support prioritized R&D initiatives. Monitor sourcing KPIs and lead continuous improvement actions to achieve business targets.
