OPEN APPLICATION: DOMESTIC HELPER / HOUSEKEEPER – HELSINKI, ESPOO & VANTAA Are you looking for meaningful work where you can support families in their everyday lives? Curon Helpperi is continuously looking for experienced Domestic Helpers to join our friendly and supportive team in the Capital Region. This is an open application, which means that we may not have a suitable position available immediately. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Domestic Helper, you provide practical day-to-day support that helps households run smoothly and makes everyday life easier for families. The work is varied, and your tasks depend on each clients individual needs. Your working week could include cooking, cleaning, laundry care, organizing, ironing, childcare support, or helping seniors with their everyday routines. Your tasks may include: * Cleaning and maintaining clients homes * Meal planning and cooking * Laundry care, ironing and folding clothes * Childcare and/or support for seniors * Light gardening and outdoor tasks * Pet care, such as walking a dog WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION * Work is mainly available from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 17:30 * Occasional evening or weekend work may also be available * The work takes place in several client homes across the Capital Region * Most clients are located in Helsinki and Espoo, but work may also be available in Vantaa, Kauniainen and other nearby areas WE OFFER * Opportunities for gig work, part-time work or full-time employment, depending on our current staffing needs and your availability * A supportive working environment and a caring team * Training, guidance and support in your work * An ongoing employment contract when applicable * Salary according to the Facility Services Collective Agreement For example, the salary for a full-time position with 100% working hours is €2,074 per month. The hourly salary is €13 per hour. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * At least two years of experience as a domestic helper or housekeeper, or at least two years of cleaning experience combined with strong cooking skills * Ability to prepare both Western dishes and food from other cuisines * Ability to work independently and take initiative * Fluent English or Finnish — you must be able to communicate well in at least one of these languages * You are already living in Finland and have the right to work in Finland * A positive attitude, reliability and respect for clients privacy A valid driving licence and access to a car are considered an advantage but are not required.
