You will own the Group management reporting framework and deliver timely monthly reports, KPI dashboards, variance analysis and business partnering on profitability and investment decisions. The role requires a master’s degree and 8–12+ years of multinational finance experience with strong FP&A, financial modelling, SAP FI/CO knowledge and familiarity with planning and BI tools. We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Head of Group Controlling to lead financial planning, analysis, management reporting, and performance management across the Polar Group. This is a senior Group Finance role with strong exposure to Group Management and business leaders across functions and legal entities. The position is based at our headquarter in Kempele, Finland. Your role In this role, you will turn financial data into clear insight for Group Management and business leaders. You will strengthen transparency, support better decision-making, and help drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and performance improvement across the Polar Group. In this role you will report to Chief Finance Officer. Key responsibilities Lead Group budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial planning processes. Own the Group management reporting framework and deliver timely, accurate, and insightful monthly reporting. Prepare executive reports, KPI dashboards, variance analysis, and financial performance insights. Partner with Group Management, Sales and Marketing, R&D, Production, and other functions on business cases, profitability, cost, pricing, and investment decisions. Strengthen performance management, accountability, and financial transparency across the organization. Monitor profitability by product, customer, channel, region, and business unit. Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis, and related performance improvements. Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, reporting tools, planning processes, automation, and data visualization. Lead, coach, and develop the Group Controlling team. What we are looking for Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent. 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience in multinational organizations. Strong background in FP&A, business controlling, management reporting, and performance management. Proven leadership experience within finance organizations. Strong financial modelling, analytical, and business performance management skills. Solid SAP FI/CO knowledge and experience with planning, consolidation, BI, or analytics tools such as Tagetik, Cognos, Power BI, or equivalent. Experience in consumer electronics, technology, manufacturing, medical technology, sports technology, or similar international environments is an advantage.
