Lue lisää: metsagroup.com/metsameillekaikille . Metsä Group is looking for a Process Owner, Purchase-to-pay to join our Accounting Service team in Espoo or Gdansk. What is the job that awaits you? In this role, you will own and actively develop the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process on the finance side and share accountability for the overall Purchase-to-Pay process with Procurement. You will ensure that the process is efficient, standardized, well controlled and aligned with organizational and Group-level objectives. A key focus will be the development of our two purchase invoice solutions, Medius and Basware, and the related ways of working. As Process Owner, you will be the leading subject matter expert and a trusted partner for all stakeholders on Purchase-to-Pay matters in finance. You will translate business needs into clear development priorities and requirements, define the target state and guide implementation together with project team. The role does not include day-to-day operational execution but supports operations by advising and guiding local key users and end users in problem situations. However, you will take an active role in process disruptions and system-related issues, ensure root causes are identified, and drive corrective actions with the relevant stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include: Own and develop the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process on the finance side and jointly govern the overall Purchase-to-Pay process with Procurement. Covering also related systems. Define the process vision, target state, roadmap, priorities, controls and performance expectations. Support group level or cross-functional development and transformation initiatives within own process area. Coordinate process-related system changes and testing withing own process area. Drive continuous improvement. Challenge current ways of working and turn improvement ideas into scalable process and system solutions. Act as a trusted expert and sparring partner across the organization. What are we expecting of you? To succeed in this role, you bring a solid background in finance processes and a strong understanding of how end-to-end processes and their interdependencies work in a corporate or group environment. We expect you to have: Strong and solid end-to-end understanding of Accounts Payable and Purchase-to-Pay processes, their controls and their interdependencies with Procurement, accounting and reporting. Prior work experience acting as finance process owner or manager for accounts payable or other finance functions is seen as advantage. A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field. Demonstrated experience in process ownership, process leadership or a comparable senior finance development role in system development projects, transformation initiatives or in complex cross-functional projects. Excellent finance systems and ERP capabilities. Experience with Medius, Basware and SAP is considered an advantage. Curiosity and the courage to challenge established practices, identify improvement opportunities and propose new approaches. Strong collaboration and communication skills, while having ability to work independently and prioritize effectively. You have sense of responsibility. Communicate fluently in written and spoken English. Finnish is considered an advantage.
