Hotel Maintenance Technician & Operations Assistant

We are looking for a highly practical, hands-on, and reliable person to join our hospitality team in Finland. We currently operate three properties and are searching for a long-term team member who is especially skilled in maintenance, repairs, furniture assembly, property upkeep, and outdoor property care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical and technical work, can solve problems independently, and takes pride in keeping properties clean, functional, and well maintained. Main Responsibilities Perform daily hotel property maintenance and repair work Repair, assemble, and maintain furniture, beds, cabinets, doors, and interior fixtures Carry out small renovation and property repair tasks independently Handle painting, installation, replacement, and improvement work around the properties Troubleshoot maintenance issues and respond quickly to operational problems Maintain the overall condition and functionality of hotel facilities Take care of outdoor areas, courtyards, gardens, and surrounding property areas Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance such as snow clearing, yard organization, landscaping, waste handling, and basic gardening work Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks when needed Independently manage hotel cleaning operations during busy periods or emergencies Assist with hotel operations and basic property management tasks Coordinate with external maintenance contractors when necessary Key Requirements Strong hands-on skills and practical working ability are ESSENTIAL Experience with furniture repair, furniture assembly, carpentry, or property repair work Able to independently handle maintenance and repair tasks Experience using tools and maintenance equipment Good problem-solving ability and strong sense of responsibility Physically capable of maintenance, outdoor work, and cleaning tasks Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently Basic electrical knowledge or electrical repair experience is a strong advantage Experience in hotels, hostels, construction, renovation, or property maintenance is preferred Driving license is highly preferred Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is not afraid of practical work and can truly fix things independently. A person who notices problems proactively, keeps the property in excellent condition, and can support both maintenance and hotel operations when needed.
