Tiivistelmä työpaikkailmoituksesta: You will join Neste’s Asset Accounting team in Espoo within Neste Global Financial Services as an Asset Accounting Specialist. You will be responsible for compliant fixed asset and lease accounting under IFRS and local GAAPs, control asset master data, and manage transactions such as activations, transfers, sales and scrapping. You will perform month‑end and year‑end closings, prepare asset tax reports and audit materials, and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on timely activations and system development projects. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, experience in financial accounting, understanding of IFRS/GAAP, fluent English (Finnish is an asset), and SAP or finance application experience is valued. We are looking for you, Specialist, Asset Accounting to join our Asset Accounting team in a permanent role in Espoo, where we work at the office three days a week. Neste Global Financial Services provides finance shared services globally for Neste Group companies and employs approximately 70+ specialists. Finance processes included in the scope are accounts receivables, accounts payables, payments, general ledger and fixed assets. As an Asset Accounting Specialist, your responsibilities include controlling and managing fixed asset master data and accounting in our ERP systems. The role also involves interpreting and maintaining IFRS 16 lease contracts as well as accounting entries in applicable systems. Close collaboration with different business units relating to investment projects is a key part of your daily work. Additionally, you play a vital role in performing month-end-closing tasks according to the Neste Group Reporting Schedule. More about the job Your role in our team In your role, you will Be accountable for ensuring compliant fixed asset and lease asset accounting and reporting within IFRS standards, local GAAPs and tax regulations Control asset master data in applicable systems and manage asset assignments such as scrapping, sales, additions and transfers Cooperate actively with project management and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct and timely fixed asset activations Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks according to Neste Group schedules, instructions and guidelines Prepare and ensure quality and compliance of annual asset tax reporting Prepare audit material relating to fixed assets and assist auditors in their inquiries Participate in Neste Corporation’s system development projects in the area of project management and fixed asset accounting Train, support and actively share knowledge to colleagues and stakeholders Keys to success in this role Bachelor’s degree or similar, preferably in Accounting or Finance Experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping Understanding of IFRS and GAAP Fluent in English and Finnish skills are considered as an asset Good communication skills Team-oriented person who enjoys collaboration Ability to work independently, effectively and with high quality under time pressure Proactive, precise and analytical way of working Other strengths we value Knowledge in SAP Previous experience on finance applications and tasks are considered as an asset A continuous improvement mindset Let’s get you started We look forward to receiving your CV and application with a salary request by August 9, 2026.
