Tiivistelmä työpaikkailmoituksesta: The Senior Process Expert will lead fixed assets and leases accounting, reporting and process development within UPM Finance & Control based in Tampere, Finland or Wrocław, Poland. You will perform and coordinate fixed assets accounting and tax reporting, ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance, support month‑end/quarter‑end/year‑end closings, and drive system and process improvement projects. The role requires a university degree in finance/accounting, solid fixed assets experience (lease accounting is an advantage), strong IFRS and Finnish GAAP/tax knowledge, SAP experience, and fluency in English and Finnish. I am excited to have you on board and look forward to working together.”- Aleksandra Klimek, Manager, Finance & Control What you will do Perform and coordinate complex Fixed Assets accounting and reporting activities, while supporting Fixed Assets tax reporting for Finnish entities, including the preparation and validation of tax-related asset reports Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, UPM policies, internal controls, and business rules Monitor and develop Fixed Assets processes to ensure operational excellence and reporting quality Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities Prepare and review reconciliations, analyses, and reporting related to Fixed Assets and Leases Participate in projects, system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives Collaborate with Business Finance, Tax, Digital & IT Team, and external stakeholders Support audits and provide accounting expertise for business and finance teams Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the organization Who you are You have a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field You have solid experience in fixed assets accounting; lease accounting experience is an advantage You have a strong understanding of IFRS and Finnish GAAP related to fixed assets and reporting You have knowledge of Finnish tax regulations and reporting requirements related to fixed assets You have experience working with ERP systems such as SAP (FCC and S/4) You are analytical and have strong problem-solving skills You are able to work independently and manage multiple priorities You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and are fluent in English and Finnish This is what we offer to you A meaningful job: We have an inspiring purpose “We renew the everyday for a future beyond fossils”.
