Senior Group Accountant / Group Financial Controller

Your role You’ll own the group accounting of an international group with entities in several countries. Local bookkeeping and compliance in each country, Finland included, are handled by Kiwora’s local partners. Your job is to lead them: set the standards, coordinate the monthly close, review their work, and turn it into reliable group figures. This role is based in Finland and requires fluent Finnish. You’ll start in Oracle NetSuite, and then help the move to Light, an AI-native finance platform. You’ll work closely with Kiwora’s founder, an experienced international group CFO, and with the client’s finance team. Your responsibilities Prepare the group’s Finnish consolidated financial statements (FAS, konsernitilinpäätös), including notes and documentation Manage consolidation, intercompany eliminations and currency translation in NetSuite Coordinate and review the work of local accounting, tax and payroll partners across countries Run the group’s monthly close timetable and make sure deadlines and quality hold in every entity Select and onboard new local partners as Kiwora grows Take part in the Light implementation and automate reconciliations and reporting What we’re looking for Several years of experience in group accounting, preferably in an international group Proven experience preparing Finnish consolidated financial statements independently Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite Experience coordinating external accounting or compliance providers across countries Excellent Finnish and English, and the confidence to lead people you don’t manage directly It’s an advantage if you have experience with NetSuite OneWorld, system implementations, IFRS, or choosing international service providers.
