Equipment Maintenance Technician

**Position:** Maintenance Technician **Location:** Kotka, Finland **Employment type:** Full-time, permanent contract **About Easpring Finland** Easpring Finland is developing a battery materials plant in Kotka to meet the growing demand for battery materials in Europe. The plant will produce cathode active materials required for electric vehicle batteries. **About the Role** We are looking for a responsible Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at our battery materials facility. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance experience and a strong safety awareness. **Key Responsibilities** \- Perform daily equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks. - Troubleshoot equipment issues and report abnormalities promptly. - Guide production operators in correct equipment use and autonomous maintenance. - Complete assigned repair tasks on time and prevent unexpected breakdowns. - Maintain accurate inspection and repair records and support 5S onsite management. - Control maintenance costs, manage spare parts, and avoid waste. - Comply with company safety, health, and environmental policies. - Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors. **Requirements** \- College diploma or above in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. \- Electrician or welding certificate preferred. \- Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in the factory. \- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. \- Strong English language skills are required.
