Do you want to help deliver the next generation of critical infrastructure on the frontline? Eltel is looking for a hands-on, proactive Site Manager to join our growing Data Center team. This is a 100% site-based role tailored for an energetic and solution-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, loves velocity, and excels in leading execution safely and efficiently directly on the field. Your key responsibilities As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the operational execution of Eltels data center projects on-site. You will ensure that Eltel's operations meet all client and regulatory requirements, resources are sufficient, and the site runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. - Operational Site Management: Oversee daily work direction, schedule adherence, and the smooth organization of construction phases. - Resource & Subcontractor Management: Ensure the site has adequate skilled personnel and materials. Identify the equipment required to complete the works and manage its timely procurement. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and Eltel's own installation crews. - Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all works are performed in compliance with contracts, quality standards, and health and safety (HSE) protocols. - Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting: Partner closely with the client and the project organization, and manage comprehensive site reporting. You will not be alone; depending on the project, you will be backed by a strong team of professionals on-site, including a Project Manager, Electrical Supervisor, Foremen, as well as HSE and Quality specialists. What We Are Looking For - A degree in Electrical (B.Sc., M.Sc.) or a strong practical trade background with extensive experience in demanding site management roles. - Proven experience as a Site Manager, General Foreman, or equivalent lead role on industrial sites, substations, or large-scale infrastructure construction projects. - Solid understanding of construction sequencing, resource management, and site safety protocols. - Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage international subcontractor groups and site crews. - Ability to navigate and work with CAD drawings or 3D models (Autodesk BIM, Dalux, Navisworks and Revit) - Professional communication skills with the ability to operate comfortably in a Finnish and English-speaking project environment. Desirable Skills (considered an advantage) - B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (or an applicable strong technical trade background). - Prior experience working inside high-security or mission-critical Data Center environments.
