Senior Data Scientist

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help solve our customers' most challenging business problems through data, machine learning, and generative AI. Generative AI is one of our key focus areas. What you’ll do: In this role, you'll work hands-on in customer projects alongside clients and Solita experts, including ML Engineers, AI Designers, and Software Developers. Your work will focus on understanding business challenges, exploring and preparing data, and developing ML, LLM, and AI models and algorithms that deliver measurable value. Examples of projects include: Identifying predictive maintenance needs and opportunities Forecasting demand for products and services Developing pricing recommendation solutions Building AI-powered virtual assistants for customer service, HR, finance, and sales functions Our goal is to create solutions that are genuinely adopted and deliver value to both customers and end users. A machine learning model is only successful when its outputs are understandable, actionable, and easy to use in practice. What helps you succeed in this role: Experience developing production-grade machine learning and AI solutions. Understanding of MLOps principles and experience supporting the deployment of models into production environments. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP in a data science context. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Optimization, or Deep Learning. Strong programming skills, particularly in Python. The ability and motivation to work closely with customers in a consultative way while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Fluent English communication skills.
