Software Engineer

Want to join a company growing 10x a year and help build systems that refurbish the world's gaming hardware? We're looking for a product-minded software engineer to join our HQ in Espoo, Finland. What is Prenew At Prenew, we give used gaming hardware a second life by purchasing, doing intensive testing processes and refurbishment, then selling them onwards. We're a VC-backed startup founded in Finland operating all over Europe, with physical hubs in Espoo and Berlin employing 50+ people. What you'll actually be doing - Owning product features 0 to 100: Taking a user problem or business need, collaborating cross-functionally to design the solution and shipping the feature - Actively use AI in your workflows: Use modern AI coding tools and workflows to ship fast - Building across the stack: Developing customer facing web UI, internal ERP and diagnostics tooling for our refurbishment hubs and hardware projects. - Keeping systems reliable and fast: Monitoring deployments, diagnosing bugs proactively, and ensuring our systems never bottleneck high-volume sales or floor operations. What success looks like To succeed in this role, you deliver working, high-impact software without needing to be micromanaged. You understand the context behind why something is being built, iterate quickly, and make sensible architectural trade-offs between speed and long-term maintainability. What we're looking for - A builder's mindset: You are already comfortable building and shipping fast - Full-stack capability: Familiarity with modern web ecosystems (TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node/Python/Go, or relational databases) and an eagerness to pick up whatever tech stack best solves the problem. - Comfort with ambiguity: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where requirements evolve quickly. - Communication: Fluent in English. Based in or willing to work on-site/hybrid from our Espoo office.
