Jobbeskrivning

Data Management Consultant Our typical way of doing things is wide-ranging: the team members are involved in both specification and design work, as well as the practical implementation of the designed solutions. This approach encourages ongoing learning, and since we tackle customer projects collaboratively as teams, no one is required to be an expert in every aspect. Our team specialising in MDM projects employs over 50 consultants. In the data enablement business area combining the MDM specialist with the data governance advisors and data architects, there is a Solita-wide international community, which has more than 100 people. We find it important to have a genuine interest in the customer's business and its features regarding data management. Therefore, almost every MDM project starts with asking the obvious questions, such as “what” and “why”, and questioning the existing assumptions. We prioritize our customers’ business needs and processes, ensuring that technology serves as an enabler rather than the starting point. While we recognize the importance of robust tools in master data management, our experience with solutions such as Semarchy has shown us the value of adaptable and sophisticated platforms that support our clients’ goals. Depending on your level of experience and responsibility, your monthly salary will range from 4000 € to 5900 € . Want to see an example of an MDM project? Have a look at our work for Fortum or YIT . Learn more about the everyday work from our Master Data Management Consultant Emma Ilmoniemi . Key skills and competencies Strong understanding of master data management theory and practices (e.g., implementation styles, processes, data and process modelling) Experience in master data–related projects and a consultative mindset: ability to understand customer needs, challenge when needed, and translate business requirements into concrete development actions Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams. Relevant technical capabilities such as SQL and database skills, understanding of APIs and integrations, familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP), and good development practices (CI/CD, version control, testing) Familiarity with or experience in MDM tools or applications is considered an advantage Experience in project work or project management Understanding of data governance principles and change management Empathy, curiosity, honesty, and a genuine drive to find the best solution for the customer Ability to work collaboratively and bring our values—caring, a laid-back attitude, courage and passion—into everyday work Entrepreneurial mindset: initiative, ownership, and eagerness to develop and improve Interest in applying GenAI technologies within master data development is a strong plus Good command of English and Finnish; proficiency in Swedish is an advantage What makes Solita a great place to work?
