Manufacturing Engineering Trainee

The Impact You'll Make Join Danfoss Drives in Vaasa and gain hands-on experience in bringing new products from development into manufacturing. You will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to projects that help deliver high-quality, efficient, and sustainable technologies to customers around the world. In this role, you will support product industrialization, manufacturing development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will help optimize production processes, improve operational performance, and strengthen manufacturing excellence. You will also have the opportunity to explore how digital tools, data analytics, and emerging AI solutions can support modern manufacturing, while building practical engineering skills in a global environment. What You’ll Be Doing Support new product introduction activities and help ensure products are ready for efficient manufacturing Contribute to manufacturing and assembly development projects to improve quality, productivity, and scalability Assist with production line, tooling, and fixture development to support operational performance Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and material data to enable smooth production processes Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using digital tools, analytics, and problem-solving methods to drive better business outcomes What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Production Economics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field Interest in manufacturing, production technologies, and product industrialization Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment Professional communication skills in English What You'll Get from Us At Danfoss, you will gain real-world experience in manufacturing engineering, new product introduction, and industrialization while working on meaningful projects that impact business performance.
